Darren began his real estate career as a RE/MAX agent in the year 2000. He has extensive experience in residential sales along with specialized expertise in foreclosure and investment properties. In addition, Darren has worked as a maritime shipping agent for eleven years and during that time has served respected principals, such as ExxonMobil, Shell, ConocoPhillips and Valero, among others, on countless occasions. He has handled thousands of ships along with the cargoes on board - their collective transactions, totaling into the billions of dollars. This background brings years of proficiency with international business and negotiating savvy. Darren currently resides in Alvin with his lovely wife and three beautiful daughters. He serves as Lead Pastor of Hope Tabernacle in Alvin and volunteers as a Police Chaplain with the Alvin Police Department, Alvin ISD Police Department and the Texas State Troopers. Darren is a board member of the Alvin-Manvel Ministerial Alliance (AMMA) where he coordinates with other area ministers on community projects. He has worked as a Substance Abuse Counselor for over 15 years and is a frequent speaker at community events related to Teen Drug Prevention. In his rare spare time, he enjoys reading and hunting. |
